Welcome    I would like to take a moment and welcome you to St. Stephen’s website. I am Eric Miller and serve as St. Stephen’s priest and pastor. Our hope for all of creation is that we enjoy and celebrate the love of Jesus, alive and active in our midst. St. Stephen’s is located at 200 Virginia St. in Beckley, WV. We are a church seeking to worship God to the very best of our capability. We are a church serving God and serving one another; in fact, we serve Jesus through serving one another. I believe our community to be one of love and grace with one another and a community ready and willing to open our arms wide open to all who enter our doors. Maybe you’ve never stepped into a church before in your entire life. Maybe you grew up in a particular denomination and haven’t been back to any church for a number of years. Who knows, maybe you’re a cradle Episcopalian and haven’t been to an Episcopal church since you were in grammar school with your family of origin. No matter what condition you find yourself in, you are welcome and encouraged to attend St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church! The congregation is quite hospitable, and there’s nothing I love more than to talk, and more importantly, to listen with folks about their faith journey. I hope and trust that you will find our website rather beneficial, but remember, there’s no substitute for coming out on Sunday morning and visiting us in person.
